DIRECT DIGITAL SYNTHESIZER WITH FAST FREQUENCY TUNING

Principles of the construction of direct digital synthesizers, developed on the basis of the direct digital synthesis method, are described. Their advantages and disadvantages in comparison with digital synthesizers based on the phase-locked loop are presented. The block diagram of a direct digital synthesizer with fast frequency tuning is given.
