Compressed sensing imaging based on high Q metamaterial aperture element

In this paper, a high Q factor metamaterial aperture element is proposed for compressed sensing imaging with a simple structure and well portability in different band. Firstly, a novel CELC cell is proposed to improve the Q factor. Then, the high Q factor Complementary Electric-LC (HQCELC) element is created with much higher Q factor, higher efficiency and frequency agility Characteristics. After that, a metamaterial aperture at Ka band is built to apply in the image reconstruction experiment in MATLAB to validate the HQCELC is reasonable or not. By the results of the imaging, the correctness and feasibility of HQCELC have been tested. Therefore, the antenna made up of the HQCELC can play a great role in the compressed sensing imaging.
