Optimal attack threshold control for UAVs air combat on the condition of decoys jamming

In this paper, the optimal attack threshold control problem of UAVs on the condition of decoys jamming influence is researched. Firstly, on the basis of operational performance of airborne radar, the differential equations of the both sides' force attritions are established, so that the Lanchester equations can be constructed. Secondly, considering the Lanchester equations as state equations, and taking UAVs' attacking threshold as the control variable, the optimal control model can be established on ammunition constraints. Later, the optimal control problem can be solved with Gauss Pseudospectral Method. On the basic of the above works, we can know the UAVs' optimal attack threshold is that: attack every encountered enemy at the beginning, when enemy force is attrited to a certain number, UAVs should decrease the attack threshold gradually.
