A time-delay based RRAM PUF circuit

The resistance variation of resistive random access memory (RRAM) enables the implementation of the physically unclonable function (PUF) designs. This paper proposes a time-delay PUF circuit based on RRAM devices. The simulation results on randomness and uniqueness show that this PUF has good usability. The proposed PUF scheme is area efficient, which comsumes less area overhead than that of the the current mirror-controlled ring oscillator PUF scheme.
