Single-phase to two-phase power converter

This paper presents two single-phase to two-phase converters. The converters can supply two loads, 180 degree lagged from each other, with sinusoidal waveform and constant amplitude and frequency, even with non-linear or unbalanced loads. Also, the converters provide sinusoidal grid current and unity power factor. Furthermore, the pulsewidth modulation (PWM) techniques are discussed and implemented. Simulation and experimental results are provided to illustrate and compare the operation of the proposed systems.
