Integrating fuzzy membership function, entropy method and VIKOR to select qualified and stable employee

A good employee can usually do job well and will enhance the competitiveness of enterprise. Employing a suitable worker to fit the requirement of job is important activity for enterprise. Generally speaking, there are a lot of quantitative and qualitative factors which will influence work quality of employees. So, multiple criteria should be considered in order to choose suitable employee. The goal of this study is to design a systematic method for handling personnel selection problem. At first, quantitative and qualitative information should be collected and will be transferred the entire information into the membership degree of fuzzy number based on the requirement of the job position. And then, this research integrated entropy method with VIKOR to determine the integrated performance of each applicant. For demonstrating the practicability of proposed method, an case study will be implemented to select suitable employee by comparing with traditional MCDM method. Some conclusion and future research will be discussed as ending.
