Planar phased supercells to reduce RCS

This paper proposes two planar supercell models to reduce Radar Cross Section. Both the models consist of the sectorized distribution of a modified Jerusalem type metaparticles to get 360-degree phase variation and high reflection efficiency. Each of the phased surface consists of 3×3 supercells for each design. We then compare the simulated RCS results with the standard chess-board RCS reduced surface and a PEC plate at 10GHz. For chess-board, model-1 & model-2 respectively, RCS reductions at phi = 0 are 15dBms, 14dBms & 22dBms.
