Techniques and tools for analysis of navigation solution of Android N smartphones

The expansion of Google API for working with GNSS receivers allows expanding the scope of smartphones by increasing the accuracy of positioning to 1 cm. This accuracy can be achieved by using raw GNSS data and RTK techniques. The field of application of high-precision positioning of smartphones is the sending of emergency signals with its own coordinates in case of danger to the user of the smartphone, navigation and assisted car driving. This article discusses techniques and tools for evaluating the navigation solution of smartphones. Based on the proposed methodology, the results of tests comparing the characteristics of several budget smartphones and the processing of raw data are presented in this article.
