A 10-bit segmented M-string DAC

A 10-bit digital-to-analog converter is presented. It is implemented by segmented architecture with identical weighting elements arrays. Weighting elements and switches have a unified implementation based on transmission gate cells. For a coarse stage a special switching scheme is proposed that reduces the number of switches.
