Database simulation model of the photovoltaic array based on Nelder-Mead method

Design calculation, performance evaluation and optimization control of the Photovoltaic (PV) system requires the PV module parameters to be determined fast and accurately. Aiming at the parameter identification of the PV module simplified model, this paper proposed a Nelder-Mead method with boundary constraint (bcNM). The restart strategy of bcNM was adopted to minimize the objective function within the boundary to improve the precision of the parameter solution. We verified the effectiveness of bcNM by using the measured data in MATLAB environment. Compared with intelligent algorithm, this method has the advantages of fast convergence rate, small computation and high identification accuracy. Then this paper established a database that contains parameter values under different conditions. In the simulation process, the optimal parameter values selected according to the working condition were substituted into the model. The simulation results demonstrated the correctness and reliability of the model.
