Improvements to control system of a multi-extruder 3D printer using a controller duet card

The commercially available 3D printers, especially low-cost printers, lack the multi-extrusion feature, the present work has as main objective to present different improvements in the control system of a low cost multiextrusor 3D printing, using a card Arduino Duet controller and free software. The multiextrusor feature means that the printer will have multiple extrusion heads or nozzles, which allow to print objects with different materials. It will detail the most important considerations when implementing improvements to the 3D printer control system such as temperature controls, position and multi-extruder drum control.
