Analysis of operation regions of an isolated bidirectional dual active bridge DC-DC converter with LC coupling

This paper presents a project methodology of the series LC tank for an isolated bidirectional dual active bridge converter. The inductance and capacitance of the LC tank are calculated by taking into account the behavior of power transfer, AC side rms current, power factor and voltages on L and C. This analysis defines suitable operation regions. Simulation and experimental results validate the proposed project methodology.
