Development of a rapid and sensitive DNA turbidity biosensor test for diagnosis of katG gene in isoniazid resistant Mycobacterium tuberculosis

Novel loop mediated isothermal amplification (LAMP) can also detect one based point mutation drug resistance in Mycobacterium tuberculosis (MTB), by designing inner primers of 5' end specific with the mutant. The reaction was optimized by in-house turbidity biosensor at 61°C, 60 min. It showed the potential to provide a rapid and sensitive method for detecting isoniazid resistant at katG gene position 315 (G→C).
