An automotive stacked ceramic patch antenna with an integrated GNSS and SDARS antenna

This paper propose a stacked ceramic patch antenna that is composed with two ceramic patch antenna for Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) and Satellite Digital Audio Radio Service (SDARS). The proposed antenna stacks up GNSS antenna on SDARS antenna to reduce the antenna volume without degradation of antenna performances. The proposed antenna covers all of the required gain at the entire azimuth range. The overall volume of proposed antenna is 36×36×9 mm
