Exciton-plasmon interaction and nonlinear-optical properties of Zn0.8Co0.2O/Au nanoparticles composite film

O decorated with Au nanoparticles was studied by standard Z-scan technique. It is shown that interaction between excitons in Zn
_0.8
Co
_0.2
O and localized surface plasmon resonances in Au nanoparticles results in the enhancement of nonlinear-optical response of a composite film.
