Using of bridge microstrip directional coupler with short-circuit lines in power control device

The researched type of microstrip directional coupler consists of a bridge joint in which the two lines are connected by means of coupled lines with short-circuited terminals. There is proposed in the document to use this type coupler in power control device for transmit-receive module of active phased-array antenna. Results of coupler modeling in dedicated programs for calculation of high-frequency devices are reviewed, characteristics derived experimentally are presented, and also the diagram of the device is proposed.
