On innovation activities of industrial companies of the north and the arctic under the conditions of resource restrictions

The work is devoted to solving the urgent problem of developing scientific grounds of modernization and innovation industrial development of the North and the Arctic of the Russian Federation under the conditions of resource restrictions, first of all investment and financial ones. The goal of the research is to elaborate theoretical and methodological grounds for potentialities of modernization and innovation activities of industrial enterprises. The work uses various research methodologies. Solvency of thirty-eight companies of the North and the Arctic for 2013-2015 is studied by the following main indicators: current solvency coefficient, current liquidity coefficient, coefficient of provision with circulating own assets, and coefficient of autonomy.
