A novel, SCR-based, distributed power supply ESD network for advanced CMOS technologies

In this work, a novel, Dual-Diode ESD cell with Embedded Lateral SCR between power supplies is presented (DDELSCR). The triggering voltage of the DDELSCR is remotely modulated through the triggering circuit of the Power Supply ESD cell. A highly area-efficient distributed SCR ESD Network is demonstrated.
