Adaptive piezoelectric vibration control using PWM based switching power amplifier

In recent years, the miniaturization and low power consumption of vibration control systems have received continuous attention in the field of flutter suppression. In previous studies, active vibration control systems relied heavily on traditional power amplifier. Considering the traditional power amplifier has the disadvantage of high power consumption and poor flexibility, an active vibration control system using PWM based switching power amplifier is presented in this paper. The proposed method has the advantage of low power consumption, high efficiency and high flexibility. Meanwhile, the weight and volume of the power amplifier is greatly reduced. The experimental results show that the proposed system can effectively reduce the structural vibration.
