Research on the dead-point problem of spherical micro pump based on virtual prototype

Micro pump, as the core component of micro flow control system, is the key to the research of micro fluidic system. This article presents a new type of spherical micro pump, and investigates the dead-point problem of the mechanism. With the help of virtual prototype technology, the spherical micro pump could have interference checked, kinematics and dynamics simulation analysed. Moreover, the cause of dead point is eventually found and a solution has been put forward. The effectiveness of the solution was verified by being compared with the theoretical analysis results in the virtual prototype simulation environment. All above conclusion will be come to theoretical guidance for the structure optimization of the spherical micro pump.
