Permanent magnet synchronous motor parameter identification with multi-innovation least squares

With low accuracy, large fluctuations and other issues of permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) parameter identification is discussed in this paper, a new method is proposed to improve the accuracy of identification results by improving the model and algorithm. Using Pade approximation method can get the Pade linear model of PMSM. The resistance and inductance of the permanent magnet synchronous motor are identified by the multi-innovation least squares (MILS) with forgetting factor algorithm online. Experimental results show that this method can improve the identification results, eliminate identification of overshoot, finally the effectiveness of the proposed method is demonstrated.
