Applied Research for Equidistant Positioning of D Value in Progressive Scoring Equation

Let the D value in a reasonable position can make the application of progressive scoring equation more rationally. In this research, D is set on the basis of 0.5s spacing, and then the new progressive scoring equation is Y=0.909D2+48.86, this result shows that new progressive scoring equation can control less than 6.7% students who may fail the examination, the score range of 60 ~ 100 is eight points wider than traditional progressive scoring equation. Only in this way can we let more students got high score, and control less than 6.7% students who may fail the exam, this method can not only conform to scoring rules for ordinary students, but also make the score more logically and enhance the students' enthusiasm of learning.
