MDP-based vertical handover scheme for indoor VLC-WiFi systems

This paper proposes an energy-efficient vertical handover scheme for hybrid VLC-WiFi systems. We formulate the problem as a Markov decision process and obtain the solution to achieve the optimal tradeoff between energy consumption and delay requirement.
