1. Introduction
Networks-on-Chip (NoCs) plays an important role in improving the communication performance of multiprocessor Systems-on-Chip (MPSoC). However, as the integration scale of MPSoC increases, traditional metallic interconnects cannot satisfy the more strict requirements of high-traffic intra-chip communication. The increasing requirement of bandwidth, excessive power consumption, ultra-low transmission latency and many other problems are becoming the bottlenecks of the traditional electronic NoC. Thus the Optical NoC (ONoC) with larger communication bandwidth, lower transmission latency and lower power consumption has been widely proposed [1] [2].
