Efficient searching, presentation, organization and retrieval of images from personal video/photo collections

There are several occasions in our life like festival, marriages, conferences, birthday parties, conferences, tours....etc, over years a massive data in from of video and photo have accumulated in hard disk around 10TB. We love to watch them many times in our computer, but after a long period of time, we generally forget the occasions due to which sometimes we are unable to find the desired photos/videos, and searching for that photos/videos in such a huge amount of memory is a task which requires lot of patience because in that case it might happen that the user had to wait for hours in order to get the result. The main aim of this work is to improve searching techniques to enable better organization, retrieval and presentation of images from personal photo/video collections.
