Non-Coherent High Spectral Efficiency Long Haul Waveband Transmission

We introduce a waveband transmission system architecture capable of reaching 2000-km distance with a spectral efficiency of 2 bit/sec-Hz based solely on non-coherent principles and enabled by electronic equalization at the receiving end.
