Implementation of a virtual network analyzer by means of VXI-based modules

In this paper the implementation of a digital network analyzer based on the Virtual Instrument (VI) technique is presented. Hardware and software architectures of the implemented instrument are described in detail. In addition, test results obtained during the instrument performance analysis are reported.
