I. Introduction
According to calculations [1] – [2], the disk explosive magnetic generators (DEMG) of 40 cm in diameter designed at VNIIEFP can be effectively used to study the dynamic strength of materials on the basis of perturbations growth in the magnetically driven layered cylindrical liner systems. In these systems the loading regimes for the liners under examination depend heavily on the pulsed power of the explosive magnetic system (number of modules in DEMG , initial current, the use of an opening switch in DEMG, etc.) and on the characteristics of the liner systems.
