A fuzzy-control procedure for predicting fatigue crack initiation in asphaltic concrete pavements

In this paper a fuzzy-logic control procedure is proposed to estimate the number of standard axle passes required to cause asphaltic concrete cracking lying between the two boundary solutions which are provided by an elastic structural model and an elasto-plastic structural model for pavement design.<
