Power system voltage contingency assessment by adjoint network

The adjoint network method used for the security analyses encounters difficulties in calculating postcontingency voltage due to linear approximation of the voltage and current changes. It is proposed that bus voltage changes be compensated. An improved scheme is suggested for the bus voltage correction and efficiency. The proposed scheme is analyzed for an example involving the 39-bus New England test system.<
