1. Introduction
This work is an extension of the Electronic Tongue No.1 (Etng 1) concept reported at the 2002 IEEE Aerospace Conference [1]. That device was developed as an outgrowth of the MECA (Mars Environmental Compatibility Assessment) project [2], and was capable of performing standard electrochemical measurements which included cyclic voltammetry (CV), anodic stripping voltammetry (ASV), and conductometric analysis.
