Development of the Spirometry Method Using the ECSC EQUATION Method

In recent years, wireless technology has developed rapidly and has brought several benefits to monitoring conditions in the health sector. Today, remote health monitoring systems have become a topic of interest for medical practitioners, engineers, and IT professionals. The health monitoring system is beneficial for patients and the community where implementing the system will reduce the number of visitors to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 virus. The spirometry method is a measurement method used to make pneumotachographs that are useful in assessing several conditions such as asthma until COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease). The ECSC (European Coal and Steel Community) Equation Spirometry method is a standard for measuring lung health. The assumptions formulated in this research are the development of the spirometry method and the ECSC Equation method for wireless-based lung and body temperature monitoring systems and programming algorithms so that this system is used as a prototype on a lab scale. The output of the research is the system optimally provides information on body temperature values and vital pulmonary capacity using ECSC Equation via Bluetooth application. Precision average body temperature value 0.1 and for Pulmonary FVC value of 98.91 % and precision value FVC + 0.0048.
