Competency of Learning Management through Video on Social Media Platform of Pre-Service Teachers with Collaborative Learning

Learning management competency is an important component in the development of pre-service teachers who will be practicing in schools. Classroom activity design, instructional media, assessment and evaluation, and student development were all components of learning management. Learning management can be presented in the form of videos on social media. Pre-service teachers can easily generate videos on their smartphones and use a computer tool or application to produce them. In addition, collaborative learning may motivate pre-service teachers to improve their performance through group projects. Working together allows students to exchange knowledge, practice, and eventually develop their work. This study investigates the competency of learning management in producing videos for social media and learning achievements. A simple random sampling included 21 pre-service teachers. The research instruments employed in this study consisted of lesson plans, learning management competency assessment forms, video production abilities assessment forms and test. Mean, standard deviation, and the t-test were utilized in the evaluation. The findings revealed that pre-service teachers who learnt through collaborative learning have a high degree of learning management competency, as well as a high level of video production ability. Learning achievement increased considerably after studying compared to before.
