Research on Momentum Analysis Based on PSO-BP Neural Network and Decision Tree

This paper mainly focuses on the influence of momentum in the result of the game, using PSO-BP to construct an evaluation model and a turning point prediction model based on a decision tree to realize the evaluation of the player's performance in the course of the game and the prediction of the turning point in the course of the game. First, the PSO-BP neural network evaluation model was constructed to reflect the performance of players in different time periods. Secondly, the momentum model was constructed to prove the influence of momentum in the game, and the obtained momentum sequence was tested randomly. Finally, we built a decision tree model to predict turning points in the flow of the game. Through this study, we reveal the important roles of player performance, momentum changes, and match turning points in sports competitions.
