Design and Implementation of VxWorks Compatibility Library Based on Xenomai

VxWorks real-time operating system can be simulated and implemented based on Xenomai. Compared to the VxWorks application API reference document released by Wind River System, the VxWorks Compatibility Library interfaces are incomplete which have been simulated and implemented based on Xenomai. This paper renovates Xenomai and supplements the implementation of the missing interfaces such as the named message queue, read-write semaphore and SigLib to improve the VxWorks Compatibility Library, so that VxWorks applications can be smoothly migrated to Linux. The relevant functional designs are proved to be complete and the VxWorks Compatibility Library works well.
