Microgrid resilient communication network architecture based on intelligent agent

Ensuring power supply to islands is an inevitable choice for the development of the marine economy. Traditional power supply methods for islands cause ecological damage. According to China's Island Protection Law, the use of renewable energy sources is prioritized. However, when utilizing new energy sources on islands, issues such as wind and solar energy abandonment, difficulties in consumption, poor inter-island communication conditions, and challenges with micro grid operation reliability and maintenance arise. To address these issues, a hierarchical microgrid architecture has been established, incorporating industrial Ethernet, EPON technology, and dedicated wireless networks to form a unified communication system, along with the adoption of corresponding security technologies to resolve various communication security issues. Employing this communication structure addresses the weak electrical and communication links between islands, enhances mutual assistance capabilities across multiple islands, and significantly strengthens the risk resistance of island micro grids. Consequently, the safety and stability of the power grid and the overall economic efficiency are further improved.
