Cardiac Age Estimation Using Genetic and Sphygmographic Data

Cardiovascular disease is closely associated with morbidity and mortality worldwide. Cardiovascular risk assessment is one of the most urgent tasks of our time and is critical to public health problems. We use data from single nucleotide polymorphisms in genes associated with cardiovascular disorders and hemodynamic parameters obtained by sphygmography to estimate cardiac age. LightG BM model exhibits mean absolute error of 6.8 years, with the highest contribution of pulse wave velocity and ankle-brachial index to the final model predictions.
