Enhancement of Graphene Surface Plasmon-Polaritons Propagation Length with a Substrate as Hybrid Graphene-Dielectric Metasurface Using Simulation Techniques

The main goal of the present work is to find and study conditions to control graphene surface plasmon-polaritons (SPP) propagation length. We proposed to increase/modify SPP propagation length in a graphene layer using resonant all-dielectric metasurface as a substrate of the graphene layer. We considered such a metasurface as a photonic crystal (PC) model. It was confirmed our metasurface has the near-zero refractive index at triple-degenerated resonant eigen frequency in PC band diagram and we proofed SPP propagation length can increase at that conditions.
