A Review on the Application of Machine Learning Techniques for Predictions of Performance Measures of Queue Systems

Due to advancement in technology, the application of queue systems has increasingly become robust. Hence, finding a good system dynamics that can portray the mathematical complexity has become important. Some of these complexities include, adaptability to online prediction, feature discovery, anomaly detection and non-linearity. Also, with the influx of large data, the need to generalize the application of machine learning techniques to queue systems with large data sets has become necessary. This necessitated the introduction of Machine Learning techniques to handle these complexities. In this research work, we will review some literature that discussed the application of Machine Learning Techniques to Queue system performance predictions.
