Research on Triple Distance and Triple Velocity Measurement Methods for Laser Trackers

In response to the problem that the indoor baseline field with limited space cannot measure the laser tracker in full range, sampling three pyramid prisms in the article expands the measurement range of the laser tracker by three times and increases the measurement speed by three times. Through experiments, it was found that under static measurement conditions, the indication error of laser tracking in the full range is -42.5μm, and the measurement repeatability of a single point is 1.9 μ m. This can meet the measurement needs of laser trackers. In dynamic measurement, the motion speed of the slide is 120 mm/s, and the measurement speed of the laser tracker is 359.99 mm/s, achieving a speed triple. The repeatability of the laser tracker in equal interval measurement (10mm) is 0.3347mm, in equal interval measurement (20mm), the repeatability of the measurement interval is 0.2903mm, in equal sampling frequency measurement (50Hz), the repeatability of local velocity is 3.21 mm/s, and in equal sampling frequency measurement (100Hz), the repeatability of local velocity is 1.87mm/s. By using three pyramid prisms, the laser tracker can achieve a threefold increase in static distance measurement and a threefold increase in dynamic measurement speed, which has broad application prospects and reference significance.
