Research on Energy Storage Control Strategy for Offshore Wind Power Considering the SOC

Energy storage devices can improve the shortcomings of offshore wind power volatility, reduce voltage fluctuations, and improve the quality of offshore wind power. A dual closed-loop control strategy considering energy storage SOC is proposed for energy scheduling of offshore wind energy storage devices. Calculate the voltage error through the voltage outer loop, and obtain the current reference value from the voltage error calculation. Then, by comparing with the inductance current, the current error value is obtained, and combined with the state of charge (SOC) of the energy storage device, the energy storage operation status is adjusted to smooth out the power fluctuations of offshore wind power. The proposed control strategy improves the stability of offshore wind power and avoids overcharging and discharging of energy storage devices. The simulation results indicate the feasibility of the control strategy.
