Research on AC Ice melting Technology of 10kV Distribution Network

With the continuous development of economy, the reliability of distribution network line power supply is becoming more and more important, but in winter, 10kV distribution network lines are easily covered with ice, which leads to the risk of inverted pole breaking of distribution network lines. This paper studies the AC deicing technology of 10kV distribution network lines. In this paper, taking the 10kV distribution network line as the research object, the icing mechanism and AC melting principle of distribution line are studied, and three types of fixed, segmented and active mobile AC melting system and ice melting intelligent switch are designed. The main conclusions are as follows: the main factors affecting conductor icing are wire temperature, wind speed, wind direction and environmental humidity. The fixed ice melting system can realize ice melting of all outgoing lines in the station, the ice melting distance can reach 20km, suitable for wires with cross-sectional area 240mm2 and below, segmented and active mobile can be flexibly deployed, ice melting distance is 10km and 4km respectively, suitable for wires with cross-sectional area 150mm2 and below. This study can provide technical guidance for AC ice melting of 10kV distribution network.
