Multi-port indirect matrix converter based on ground-based aviation power supply

With the concept of “green airport”, airports have begun to widely promote green auxiliary power units to replace fuel generators to help reduce carbon emissions at airports. Airport ground power supply device needs a high-efficiency, high-quality, low-cost power conversion equipment, matrix converter as a direct AC-AC converter, without intermediate DC link, can realize the output of any frequency and amplitude, and has gradually become an important part of the ground power supply device of the aviation system, naval system and other ground power supply device. Based on the topology of matrix converter, this paper designs and realizes a dual-input and three-output ground power supply based on indirect matrix converter in accordance with the current power demand for starting and overhauling the on-board equipments when the aircraft is parked.
