Research on three-dimensional visualization technology based on electric power meta-universe technology

With the rapid development of industrial automation and information technology, the power industry is facing the need for transformation and upgrading. The traditional mode of power equipment inspection and operation and maintenance is increasingly not adapted to the management requirements of modern power grids due to its inefficiency and lack of precision. This study aims to develop a power equipment remote monitoring, fault diagnosis and training system by integrating Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR) and Internet of Things (IoT) technologies in order to improve the operation and maintenance efficiency and management level of power equipment. First, we developed a Unity3D-based VR software, which utilizes simulation and interaction technologies to provide an immersive training environment for employees of electric power enterprises to practice equipment operation and maintenance in virtual space. Second, combined with AR technology, we designed an electrical equipment inspection platform to improve the efficiency and quality of the inspection process through digital means. In addition, we constructed an IoT management platform to realize efficient management and intelligent analysis of electrical cabinet data. The application of this system demonstrates that the combination of VR and AR technologies can significantly improve the quality of operation and maintenance of electrical equipment and the operationa proficiency of employees, while reducing training costs. The data management capability of the IoT platform strengthens the realtime monitoring and fault response capability of the power system, providing a powerful tool for risk management and decision support for power companies. The combined application of these technologies not only provides a new impetus for the business development and technological upgrading of electric power enterprises, but also offers solutions that can be drawn upon for the intelligent transformation of other industrial sectors.
