Signal Regeneration for Flexible Power-Division Multiplexing

Robust signal regeneration algorithms are developed that account for polarization demultiplexing and equalization. They are demonstrated to reconstruct power-division multiplexed (PDM) signals with minimal error. The algorithms reconstruct dual polarization 16-QAM experimental data with an average 1.5% waveform error.
