Application of Proportional-Integral-Derivative-Based Algorithm in Energy Management of Higher Education Institution

With the rising cost of energy and the increasing awareness of environmental protection, energy management in higher education institutions has become increasingly important. Thus, an integrated Proportional-Integral-Derivative (PID) control strategy was formulated to optimize energy allocation and reduce energy waste by establishing a campus energy consumption model. The system improved the efficiency of energy use and reduced operating costs, which makes the system contribute to the sustainable development of higher education institutions.
