Development of a new front heat generator device and results of numerical simulation on Comsole Multiphysics

In the new Kazakhstan, in the agricultural sector, instead of large agricultural holdings, we expect the arrival of small and medium-sized peasant farms, and for them, we must prepare technical means for farming. Therefore, the development of devices of simple design for the efficient combustion of any type of liquid or gaseous fuel of any composition in a compact heat generator for agricultural needs with minimal harmful emissions is an important and urgent task. Previously, we investigated the front device with an air nozzle at a 30° inclination of the front surface to the horizontal, as shown in Fig. 2. But in order to further improve the front device of the heat generator, we increased the angle of inclination to 60° and, through the influence of the intake of secondary air, achieve the division of a single torch into many micro-torches through the cracks in the front device. In this regard, numerical simulation of the heat generator was performed in the Comsol Multiphysics program to study the aerodynamics in the heat generator. Thus, numerical modeling of aerodynamic processes is an important tool in studying the efficiency of the design of the front heat generator device. In the future, the numerical model should be confirmed during experiments on an experimental installation with a complete picture of combustion processes and the formation of complete and incomplete combustion products, optimization of aerodynamics, and mixture formation of fuel and air, as well as the influence of various parameters in these processes on the operation of the front device. In this regard, it is expected to improve the characteristics of the heat generator due to the equalization of the temperature fields of the flame and undesirable fields of underburning of fuel in individual zones of the torch with low mixture formation rates.
