Energy-Aware Task Completion Delay Optimization of Space-Aerial Enabled MEC System

This article proposes a new approach for improving energy-aware task delay completion in SA-MEC systems using the Block Coordinate Descent (BCD) algorithm. The BCD algorithm aims to minimize energy consumption while ensuring that tasks are completed within their deadlines. It takes into account the mobility of space Ariel vehicles by dynamically assigning tasks to the most suitable edge server based on its location and available resources. Simulation results using MATLAB show that the BCD-based approach can significantly reduce the task completion delay of space Ariel vehicles compared to traditional techniques. This demonstrates the effectiveness of the proposed method in optimizing the performance of SA-MEC systems. In conclusion, energy-aware task offloading, and resource allocation are crucial for efficiently utilizing resources in SA-MEC systems. The proposed BCD-based approach offers a promising solution for improving task delay completion while minimizing energy consumption. This article provides valuable insights into how MEC technology can optimize the performance of space Ariel vehicles in a dynamic environment.
