Crop Recommendation System Using Machine learning Classifiers

The Indian economy is heavily dependent on its agricultural sector which employs several workers. But many times, due to low returns, farmers face problems which is a consequence of not knowing which crops to grow when concerning the climatic and soil conditions. This information gap is decreasing the progress of the agricultural industry. It can be solved using technology, especially Machine Learning, by assessing the soil and climatic data to generate farming recommendations that are specific to a particular plot. This technique increases the yield for the farmers as it reduces the choice of incorrect crops and helps the farmers make wise decisions.
