Virtual Synchronous Generator Based on Full-order Terminal Sliding Mode Backstepping Control

To promote the response speed and accuracy of the output power, the traditional sliding mode control has been used in the virtual synchronous generator (VSG) based inverter. However, the inherent chattering of the sliding mode control is not eliminated, and the disturbance of matched and non-matched in the system is not fully considered, which will lead to inaccurate control. In this paper, a full-order terminal sliding mode (FTSM) backstepping control method is proposed, which aims to improve the robustness of the system to resist internal parameter perturbations and external disturbances, and eliminate the chattering caused by high-frequency switching. Finally, the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed method are proved by simulation and experiment results.
